Washington Will Never Be The Same
In July 2014, Donald J. Trump, president and chairman of The Trump Organization, and Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump, executive vice presidents of development and acquisitions, broke ground on Trump International Hotel, Washington, D.C., the company's $200 million redevelopment of The Old Post Office Washington, D.C. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, Mayor Vincent Gray, Muriel Bowser, Councilmember, Ward 4, Council of the District of Columbia, and Norman Dong, Commissioner of the Public Buildings Service for the United States General Services Administration, joined the Trump family to celebrate the occasion. The property’s transformation, complete with luxurious hotel rooms in Washington, D.C., is scheduled to be complete September 12, when it will become the newest addition to the rapidly growing Trump Hotels™.
"We are absolutely thrilled to break ground today on what will be, in the very near future, one of the finest hotels anywhere in the world—Trump International Hotel, Washington, D.C. Throughout the next two years, we will work to restore this magnificent building to even well beyond its original grandeur" - Donald J. Trump
