Dogs are not permitted in public function rooms or restaurants; however, they are allowed at the Turnberry Lighthouse, The Gravel Terrace, and a limited number of designated tables by the main hotel fireplace. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while on resort grounds. The closest airport is Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK), approximately 40 minutes by car. Glasgow Airport (GLA) is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes by car. Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is also an option and is approximately 90 minutes by car (traffic dependent).
What is the best way to get from the airport to the hotel?
The most convenient way to travel from either airport to the hotel is by car. Private transfers and taxis can be arranged in advance, and self-drive car hire is available from airports.
