Renamed MacLeod House in 2008 to reflect its status as the Scottish residence of President Donald J. Is a security deposit required at check-in?
A security deposit is not required. A valid credit card is required at check-in and must remain on file for the duration of the guest’s stay. At check-in, the hotel will charge the guest’s credit card for the full room rate, including all applicable taxes. All incidental charges or damage charges will also be charged to the guest’s credit as soon as they are identified.

Bookings are fully refundable if cancelled a minimum of 30 days prior to arrival, any reservation cancelled within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable but can be changed, subject to availability, within 12 months at the discretion of Trump MacLeod House & Lodge, Scotland. Changes requested within these time frames may result in charges being incurred. Guests who fail to attend on the day will be charged in full. Any rescheduled reservations are subject to up charges, depending on seasonal rates.

Is there a hot tub available at Trump International, Scotland?
Trump International, Scotland does have a hot tub available for guests. The property features a private outdoor hot tub in its secluded courtyard, perfect for relaxing during your stay under the stars or after a day of golf or exploring the estate grounds. In the interests of safety and to ensure guests have the best possible experience, guests are required to read, understand and agree to the hot tub use policy. The hot tub is open daily between 12:00pm - 9:00pm.

Is parking available at the hotel?
Parking is available for guests at Trump International, Scotland. The hotel’s car park is conveniently located on the estate and complements the property’s range of amenities, making arrival and departure as seamless as possible.

Are there electric vehicle (EV) charging points?

As per the Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005, the resort, including all accommodation and public areas are strictly non-smoking. Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided 25 feet from any entrance. 

Is there a fee if you smoke in the guest rooms?
To maintain the comfort of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited in bedrooms. Any breach of this policy will result in a £500 charge to refresh the room.

The Clavis Whisky Bar at Trump International, Scotland is a refined and atmospheric bar located within MacLeod House, celebrated for its extensive selection of Scottish and international malt whiskies - with over 200 rare, sought‑after and traditional Scotch whiskies available for guests to sample and savour. The name Clavis comes from an ancient word meaning “key,” referencing the elegant whisky lockers that showcase many of the bar’s special bottles. The space is richly appointed with dark walnut, luxurious upholstery and warm lighting, making it a cozy place to relax with a dramatic or other fine drink after a day of exploring or dining. Aside from whisky, the bar also offers cocktails, fine wines and other spirits, and the venue is sometimes available for exclusive private hire or special events within the estate.
