Where is the Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago located?
The hotel is located at 401 North Wabash Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611, along the Chicago River at the foot of the Magnificent Mile, just steps from Michigan Avenue and the Loop.

What time is check-in?
Our guaranteed check-in time is 4:00pm. If you arrive earlier, our team will be happy to check room availability and, whenever possible, welcome you to a room that is ready. While you wait, we are pleased to store your luggage, and you are invited to begin enjoying the resort’s amenities. The spa locker rooms are also available, providing a refined space to freshen up or change so you can start experiencing the Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago immediately.

What time is check-out?
Check-out time is 11:00am. If you wish to extend your morning with us, we would be delighted to explore late check-out options for you. This service is available upon request, subject to availability, and may incur an applicable fee. Our team will be pleased to assist in making your departure as seamless and enjoyable as your stay.

Is early check-in available?
We will always do our best to accommodate early arrivals based on availability. If your room isn’t quite ready, we’ll store your bags and invite you to relax by the pool, enjoy a meal, or explore the property. Our spa locker rooms are at your disposal, offering a refined space to freshen up or change.

Is late check-out available?
Late check-out is available upon request and subject to availability. Fees may apply for extended departures.

Is there a minimum age requirement to check-in at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago?
Yes, guests must be at least 21 years of age to check in at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. A valid government-issued photo ID and a credit card are required at the time of arrival. 

Is a security deposit required at check-in?
Yes, upon check-in, a security deposit of $200.00 per night will be authorized on your credit or debit card to cover any incidental charges or damage to your room or the hotel. If incidental or damage charges exceed the amount of the security deposit, additional charges may apply. If no incidental or damage charges are incurred, the full deposit will be released on the day of departure.  Depending on your financial institution, it may take up to 7 business days for domestic credit or debit cards and up to 20 business days for international credit or debit cards for the funds to be released. For further details, please contact your financial institution.

What is the cancellation policy at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago?
Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to 4:00pm local time on the day of arrival to avoid penalty. Cancellations made after this deadline will incur a charge of one night’s room rate plus tax. Please note that cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate type booked; advance purchase and non-refundable rates are not eligible for cancellation or refund.  

Do you have Wi-Fi?
Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available in rooms and public areas. Premium high-speed internet access is also available for an additional fee.

Is there an ATM on-site?
An ATM is located in the lobby by the set of elevators next to the Front Desk that lead to Terrace 16.

Is there a business center on property?
Yes, our 24/7 Business Center offers computer stations and printing services. It is located on the 17th Floor.

Do you have a concierge or guest services team?
Yes, our Concierge team is here to assist with everything from dinner reservations, city tours, tickets, and everything in between that Chicago has to offer.

Is parking available?
Yes, we offer both self-parking and valet parking. Please check with the front desk for current rates and inclusions.

Does Trump Hotel Chicago have fully-equipped kitchens?
Each of our suites is elegantly designed with a fully-equipped kitchen.

Are there services for guests with disabilities?
Accessible rooms and wheelchairs are available. Smoke detectors for the hearing-impaired and TDD/TTY devices are also available upon request.

It is a complimentary loyalty program that allows members to enjoy a tailored guest experience and earn points on all qualified stays.

What benefits do The Trump Card® Privileges Program members receive?
Members can redeem points for complimentary nights, save preferences in a customized member profile for a personalized stay, receive prioritized early check-in and check-out, and get members-only offers via email.

How do I enroll in The Trump Card® Privileges Program?
You can enroll on our website to start earning points and work towards Gold and Platinum levels.

What is the Trump Attaché® service?
The Trump Attaché® service is a customized service designed to anticipate your needs and grant requests, making your hotel stay feel like a return home. It goes beyond traditional concierge or butler services.

What types of services does The Trump Attaché® service provide? 
Services include pre-arrival and departure transportation setup, dining suggestions and reservations, personal assistance and shopping, museum and attraction tickets, grocery stocking, special amenity setup, pet walking, nanny services, personal training, floral arrangement requests, and messenger services. Requests are based on location and availability, and some services may have rates.

What services are available for children? 
The Trump® Kids program offers offers a variety of amenities and services designed for younger guests, including a children’s beverage menu, kids’ menus and pricing at select restaurants, a Parent & Me tandem spa treatment, coloring books and sunglasses, kids’ robes and slippers, a city map featuring kid-friendly activities, access to the swimming pool, rollaway beds, board games, children’s books, and an in-suite children’s movie channel (additional fees may apply).

 

WELLNESS AND RECREATION

What wellness facilities are available?
Amenities include a spa,  fitness center, 75-foot heated pool, eucalyptus steam room, and dry heat sauna.

Do you have a fitness center?
Yes, we have a fully equipped fitness club with state of the art equipment from Technogym, Life Fitness and Peloton.

Are there fitness classes?
Yes, we offer up to 25 classes weekly.

Can I book spa treatments in advance?
Yes, you can book in advance online or by calling the spa at 312-588-8020.

Are spa services complimentary?
Spa services are not complimentary, they can be booked at an additional cost.

What are spa hours?
Spa hours of operation for treatments are 6:00am - 10:00pm.

Are there wellness recommendations for first-time visitors?
For optimal relaxation, we recommend enjoying the steam room and sauna, followed by a cleansing shower, before your massage with our professionally trained and licensed therapists.

Is there a dress code for the spa and fitness areas?
Yes, all guests must wear appropriate athletic attire in the fitness facility, including a shirt, shorts or pants, and closed-toe shoes. Spa robes and slippers are provided to guests scheduled for spa services.

Can children use the spa or fitness center?
Children under 16 are not permitted to use the fitness facilities. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times in spa and fitness areas, including the pool. Spa treatments are not available for children under 12.

Where is the pool located?
The pool is on Level 14M.

Do you have a Jacuzzi?
We do not have a Jacuzzi.

Can kids be in the pool?
Children can use the pool. All children under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty.

Do you offer kids’ menus?
Terrace 16 and In-Room dining offers a kids’ menu featuring both familiar favorites and healthy options. Grilled Chicken with Steamed Vegetables, Mini Cheeseburgers and Fresh Fruit Plates, Mac & Cheese and Kids’ Sliders.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely, we are pleased to offer gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free options at all venues. Please let your server team know your preferences so we can tailor your dining experience.

Do I need restaurant reservations?
Reservations are highly recommended for Terrace 16 & Rebar, especially during weekends and peak seasons. The Experiential Tasting Lounge is upon reservation only.

Absolutely, our Concierge team is happy to recommend and reserve tables at Chicago’s top dining destinations. We can also arrange transportation to and from your destination.

Can you arrange private or special dining experiences?
Certainly,  whether it’s a private chef’s table, a romantic dinner setup on our terrace, or a celebratory meal for a large group, our team will coordinate all the details for a truly memorable experience.

Are there seasonal or themed dining events?
Yes, throughout the year, we host holiday brunches, wine pairing dinners, barbecue nights, and exclusive spirit tastings in our outlets and meeting spaces. 

 

FAMILY AND PETS

Do you offer child-friendly amenities?
Absolutely, we provide thoughtfully curated amenities for children of all ages. Families can enjoy the Trump Kids Packages, which include fun activities, games, and themed amenities. The resort also offers kid-friendly menus at all dining outlets and a family pool area in our spa.

Are babysitting services available?
A list of licensed professionals available for in-room childcare can be provided by our Concierge Team.

What is available for babies?
With advance notice, the hotel can provide cribs with plush linens, bed rails, bath amenities, strollers, and information about nanny services (rates apply).

Are rollaway beds and cribs available?
Guest Services can deliver a crib or rollaway to your room. However, rooms with two beds are not permitted to have a rollaway. Rollaway beds are available for a $50.00 per day fee.

Can kids use the pool?
Children are welcome at our family pool under adult supervision. All children under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty. Towels are available upon request from the spa attendants.

Do you offer family rooms or suites?
We do offer spacious, family-friendly room configurations including connecting rooms and suites with multiple bedrooms. Each room is thoughtfully equipped to ensure both adults and children enjoy a comfortable stay.

Are there quiet spaces for children to rest or nap?
Children can rest comfortably in the bedroom or take a nap in the living room when staying in a suite. The majority of our couches have sofa beds that can be made up or the hotel can provide rollaways beds upon request, for an added fee. 

Are there family-friendly dining options?
Yes, Terrace 16 offers kids’ menus and child-friendly portions. The Concierge team can recommend family-friendly times to dine, suggest favorite dishes, and help arrange high chairs or booster seats.

Can the Concierge help plan family experiences?
Absolutely, from arranging a special birthday celebration in the room or at a restaurant, to coordinating family excursions or private activities, the Concierge team ensures every family experience is seamless and memorable.

Are pets allowed at the resort?
We are a pet-friendly hotel. A one-time pet fee of $125.00 applies, and pets must weigh under 25 lbs (11kg), and a limit of two pets per room or suite. Pets are not permitted in spa floor rooms. 

Do you offer special pet amenities?
We provide food and water bowls, dog-friendly “Do Not Disturb” signs, pet beds, treats, waste bags, wipes, drinking mats, toys, and bandanas. Guests can even enjoy a Trump Pets Tee Pee for their furry companions, upon request. 

 

GROUND TRANSPORTATION AND DIRECTIONS

Is airport transfer available?
For your comfort and convenience, the Concierge Desk can arrange a private, chauffeured vehicle for airport pick-up. Rates for private transportation are as follows:
Standard Black Sedan (Lincoln Continental or equivalent): $199.00 for the arrival and $191.00 for the departure
A 5-6 passenger Black SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle):  $242.50 for the arrival and $234.50 for the departure

What is the closest airport?
Midway Airport (MDW) is 12.1 miles and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is 17.2 miles away from the hotel. 

Can I rent a car?
There are three car rental agencies (Hertz, Enterprise, Avis) near the hotel and multiple ones at either airport. 

Can Concierge assist with car rentals?
Yes, our Concierge team is happy to assist with car rental arrangements.

Do you offer shuttle service?
We do not offer a shuttle service. However, both airports provide shuttle options near baggage claim, including a service called Go Airport Xpress.

How do I get to the resort from the airport?
We are happy to arrange private transportation in advance for an added fee. Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft, as well as taxis, are also available at both Chicago airports. Fares vary depending on the airport, time of day, and day of the week, typically ranging from $35.00 to $125.00.

Can Concierge assist with transportation for local excursions?
Yes, we can arrange private transportation if needed. Our doormen are also happy to assist with taxis, which are typically readily available. Additionally, our House Car can provide drop-off service for guests within a one-mile radius of the hotel. Please note that it does not offer return rides, does not take reservations, and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend checking with our doormen when you’re ready to go, they can let you know if the House Car is available. Since trips are limited to one mile, the House Car usually returns quickly.

Are rideshare services available nearby?
Uber & Lyft are available in Chicago.

Are there outdoor activities nearby?
Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities nearby, including strolls along the Chicago Riverwalk, visits to the iconic Cloud Gate sculpture, kayaking, bike rentals, architectural boat tours, and guided city bus tours.

Can the Concierge help plan day trips or excursions?
Yes, we can tailor your requests to build a customized itinerary for you depending on your preferences and interests.

Are there options for nightlife or evening entertainment?
Yes, nearby options include live music venues such as Andy’s Jazz Club, Howl at the Moon, and Redhead Piano Bar, along with nightclubs like TAO, Electric Hotel, and Celeste.

The Magnificent Mile, Oak Street and State Street Shopping Districts
North Michigan Avenue, also known as the Magnificent Mile, is a premier shopping destination with over a mile of upscale stores, boutiques, hotels, spas, and restaurants. Favorite stores include Nordstrom, the Apple Store, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Water Tower Place, Macy’s, American Girl Place, and Bloomingdale’s.

Museums

Museum of Science and Industry
The Museum of Science and Industry is the oldest science museum of its kind in the Western Hemisphere. It features more than 800 exhibits and 2,000 interactive units across over 350,000 square feet of exhibit space. Attracting approximately 2 million visitors per year, its many interesting items include a captured WWII German submarine, a 3,000-square-foot model railroad, a baby-chick hatchery, a nearly 20-foot walk-through human heart model, and the Apollo 8 Spacecraft.

Field Museum of Natural History

At the Field Museum of Natural History, you can view ancient Egyptian artifacts, animal specimens, gems, and exhibits on bird habitats, African culture, and Native American cultures. The most popular exhibit is likely Sue, the world's largest, most complete, and best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex.

Millennium Park
Home to “the Bean” (Cloud Gate), one of Chicago’s most iconic landmarks, Millennium Park, is a 24.5-acre park in the heart of downtown that offers extraordinary public art, music, landscape design, and architecture. Visitors can enjoy al fresco dining, beautiful gardens, sculptures, and fountains, all centered around the dazzling Jay Pritzker Pavilion, an outdoor concert venue designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry. Maggie Daley Park
The former Daley Bicentennial Plaza has been transformed into Maggie Daley Park, a magnificent 20-acre lakefront recreation center. The space offers picnic groves, a play garden, miniature golf, tennis courts, and rock-climbing sculptures. The three-acre Play Garden is the first of its kind in Chicago, designed to capture the imagination with custom-designed play structures and sculptures that are intentionally different from usual park settings. Lincoln Park Zoo
Located in a beautiful park setting near Chicago's lakefront, the Lincoln Park Zoo features winding paths that lead to both indoor and outdoor exhibits. Chicago Skydeck

Shedd Aquarium
The Shedd Aquarium is the world’s largest indoor aquarium, featuring more than 650 species of marine life.
